i am writing here about our show last sunday in philadelphia - not my favorite cass mccombs song:

we’ve decided that playing outside new york city is awesome!! you can drink on the sidewalk…play ping pong before the show…and the soundguys are way less jaded (not necessarily better…but they seem to care more).  beer is cheaper and comes in far more varieties that we’re not used to.  philadelphia, we’ll be back!

thanks to the extra free time i found myself enjoying over the thanksgiving holiday, i finally got around to finish editing this video from footage we shot while in california this past april.  its basically just me playing around with some of the functions in final cut pro 6…not much to it, but i thought it looks sort of cool:
